coDiagnostiX is implant planning software. I purchased it two years ago and have been extremely happy with the results. I use it with 100 per cent of my implant cases and also to diagnose cracked teeth and the position of 3rd molars.
What’s good about it
I like everything about this software. I can match the CT data from the patient with the software and create a virtual treatment plan. This dramatically increases the predictability of the treatment outcome. For example, if there is a need for a bone and soft tissue graft, it is possible to know with some accuracy the amount needed. It is also possible to create virtual exodontias, implant placements and to show the amount of bone reduction needed.
The software makes communication with the patient much clearer and easier to understand. The patient can see exactly what will happen during the procedure and the final outcome. As a result, case acceptance is much more frequent.
coDiagnostiX release a constant stream of software updates. If a company launches a new product related to implants, it will be available on coDiagnostiX in short order. At present, there are more than 70 implant companies around the world and the majority are available on this software.
The company also offers technical support 24/7.
What’s not so good
The only negative is the cost of the annual license fee. However, it’s worth it because of the updates.
