Dentsply Sirona implantsThe 55-year-old male patient presented with a hopeless maxillary first molar (tooth 16). With previous sinus grafting and implant therapy adjacent to this site (performed over five years earlier by another periodontist), immediate implant therapy is possible.

Simultaneous bone augmentation with a composite graft composed of allograft (FDBA; Symbios Mineralised Cortical Powder, Dentsply Sirona Implants) and Symbios Xenograft Granules (Dentsply Sirona Implants) is used for maintenance of peri-implant hard and soft tissues. Symbios PerioDerm Acellular Dermis (Dentsply Sirona Implants) is utilised to act as a barrier and to augment the thickness of the soft tissues.
