The Australian Dental Industry Association has elected Joanne Stanbury as the new state president for ADIA New South Wales. She will serve a term ending late 2020.

Stanbury—a dental therapist with over 25 years of experience in the dental industry in senior management roles, and as a clinician—is also the CEO and founder of One Dental which has been operating for 16 years, chair of the ADIA Industry Skills Committee, and she was a finalist in the 2018 ADIA Dental Industry Professional Award.

As part of a trend that is seeing more SMEs led by women, Stanbury is also known for having revolutionised the dental market with her innovative dental vending program, and has throughout her career developed close relationships with teaching institutions, dealer companies and manufacturers worldwide.
