The Australian Dental Industry Association announced at its recent AGM that Tanya McRae of Dental Installations has been elected as the new ADIA national president.
McRae has experience in financial and strategic planning, skills she’s used in her previous involvement with the ADIA, particularly through service on the ADIA Board, the ADIA-TCPC Trade & Commercial Policy Committee and as ADIA NSW president.
“I am extremely passionate about the dental industry and am pleased to have this opportunity to serve our members in a greater capacity,” McRae said.
“At ADIA, our collective focus is on providing the infrastructure that allows member businesses to grow, create jobs and operate sustainably.”
McRae is also looking to continue the work of outgoing ADIA national president, Phil Jolly, on the 2016-20 ADIA Strategic Plan.
“ADIA’s strategic plan includes a raised awareness of the new and innovative patient treatment pathways the dental industry offers Australia’s oral health community,” McRae said.
“The take-up of these new products depends on the sustainability of dental practices which has been a major focus of the ADIA in recent years and will continue to be.”
