There is still time to register for the 2017 Public Oral Health Innovation Conference, to be held in Melbourne next month.

This year’s theme is ‘Journey to Value, where speakers will share thinking and practice that is transforming oral health. The keynote speaker is Jacob Lippa M.P.H, International Consortium Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM), USA, who will discuss the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of value-based health care, what it means for the clinicians in the audience and how ICHOM is helping shift the paradigm.

Also presenting is Melanie Hay, strategic adviser, Heart Health Initiatives, who will talk about her work leading the DHHS Health Innovation and Reform Council in transformational change in the area of heart failure.

In addition, the program includes a ‘Marketplace of Innovation’, where presenters will showcase innovative public oral health practices, and three pre-conference workshops.

The event will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Friday 31 March, 9am-5pm.
